Sentosa Island

Saving the best for the last, introducing Sentosa Island, a place which is a "must" for you to go. Sentosa Island is Singapore’s premier island paradise getaway. It’s hosts a lot of fun-filled activities and attractions for you and your family or friends.

I will just be focusing on the activities and attraction you have to try or go when you are in Sentosa Island.

      Entrance

The Tiger Sky Tower is Singapore's tallest observatory tower that offers a panoramic view of Singapore at 131 meters above sea level.

 Tiger Sky Tower

Enjoy yourself when you are riding the part go-cart, part toboggan, the Luge. You can control the speed of the Luge when navigating down 650 metres of the Jungle Trail or 688 metres of the Dragon Trail. The Skyline Luge Sentosa is one of the activity you must try :)

Next, is the beaches. This is where I will go every weekend just to release my stress from all schoolwork and enjoy myself with my friends :). There are 3 beaches which are Tanjong beach, Pahlawan beach and Siloso Beach. This beaches are nice places for couples to hang out.

The Underwater World is Asia's largest tropical oceanarium. Home to 1500 species of underwater animals, you will get the chance to see how this animals live and swim around the oceanarium when you travel on the travelator.

Other attractions that you must go are "The Song of the Sea", "Dolphin Lagoon", "Megazip Adventure Park" and "Fort Siloso"

Last but not least, there is one more place in Sentosa which I almost forget. Presenting Singapore's very own "Universal Studio". Built in 2011, it holds a total of 24 attractions, 18 of which are new in Singapore. There are 7 different themed zones where each zone is created for you to experience and enjoy yourself. :)

The Hollywood themed zone was modeled after the actual Hollywood Boulevard from the 70s era. Here, you can meet with Hollywood characters like Marilyn Monroe, wacky Woody Woodpecker and more.

The New York themed zone gave you a view of how the "real" new york city look like. With displaying of neon lights, bustling sidewalks and classic New York City landmarks, it is truly classical. Street performers and  stage shows will make your day even better :)

Enjoy yourself in the Sci-Fi City themed zone. Attractions such as "Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs Cylon", duel roller coasters that will gave you breathtaking moments, "Accelerator" and the new "Transformers The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle".

Other themed zone such as "Ancient Egypt", "Lost World", "Far Far World" and "Madagascar" are places for you to go and enjoy yourself.

I hope you will definitely visit Sentosa with your love one's and enjoy yourself. That's all for today guys. Thank you for visiting my post :)

Meet the world's largest observation wheel here in Singapore. Standing at about 165m tall (about 40 storey high), the Singapore Flyer will give you the chance to view the entire landscape of Singapore as well as some parts of Malaysia and Indonesia.

You can have a romantic dinner with your partner inside the capsule (fully air-conditioned) or even propose your partner so that both of you will never forget this wonderful moments. Nice!

With less than a 15 minutes walk from the Singapore Flyer, next place to go is the Esplanade -Theaters On The Bay. The uniqueness of the Esplanade is that it looks like a "durian". You can view live performance of different kinds of performing arts here and also, there is a library for you to visit.

Walk across the esplanade bridge and you will reach the Merlion Park. Get the chance to see the Merlion Roar. The Merlion is the symbol of Singapore. With a head of a lion and a body of a fish, the Merlion never fails to guard the Singapore river from day to night..

Feeling tired of walking? Don't worry as this uncle will give you a lift in his traditional trishaw. It will cost you a bit but you will definitely be happy with its friendly service :)
